    • ER or Urgent Care Experience
    • Needs to be proficient in cricothyrotomy, neuromuscular blockages, percutaneous transtracheal ventilation, topical anesthesia, regional nerve blocks, conscious sedation and chest tube insertions.
    • Although this is an urgent care, they do receive a lot of patients with severe MVA injuries, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, precipitous deliveries, acute MI, strokes, etc.

    • Operates 24/7
    • 12-hour shifts
    • 8a – 830p / 8p – 830a    
    • Shift coverage is first come first serve once schedule is released.

    • 1 UC Physician on.

    • Not leveled trauma center
    • 4 beds
    • EMR = RPMS
    • No ICU / no admissions since 2018
    • ED Staff runs codes
    • No surgical cases
    • Specialized or Certain Imaging Equipment access – POCUS is available. CT/MRI needs are transferred to higher level of care.
