- Specialty: Provider can be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist. Must have experience with Substance Abuse / Drug & Alcohol counseling.
- Licensure: Any state license, needs to be licensed as social worker, psychologist, MFT, etc.
- Certifications: No certs needed.
- Experience requirements: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited program
- COVID Vaccine: Preferred.
- Weekly schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a – 5p (1 hour unpaid lunch)
- Patient volume per day: 5-6 patients per day
- Ages seen: Adolescent & up
- Clearance timeframe: Within 2 weeks
- Support staff: 1 clinical psychologist that is perm, 1 MFT (this is the behavioral health manager), 2 substance abuse counselors that make up their substance abuse team (1 currently – additional will be locum), 1 Psych NP that manages medications, 1 intern psychologist.
- Housing options nearby: Carson City has housing options, 20 mins from clinic
- Additional Details: The locum provider will be utilized for help with substance abuse and drug and alcohol cases. Provider will help with completing court ordered documentation, management of SA patients. Longer term and more severe cases are handled by perm staff.
