Job Summary: As a member of the healthcare team. The Pediatrician provides comprehensive medical services for infants, children, and adolescents. Performs diagnostic services which include securing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, interpreting laboratory and x-ray results to define health problems and ascertain therapy required. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the health and well-being of the community’s youngest members.
Location: Oroville, CA
Compensation:
· Salary: $129.04 – $142.47
· Sign on Bonus: $100,000k
· Relocation: $10K

Schedule:
· Tuesday-Friday 7-6 or Monday – Friday 8-5
Setting:
· Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing primary care services to both Native and non-Native community members
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Current California License as Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
· Board certified or Board eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or other closely related specialty.
· At least three (3) years’ experience in ambulatory outpatient medicine.
· Must have a current DEA narcotic license.
· Certified as a preceptor for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, or willing to be certified.
· Current CPR
· Possession of a valid California driver’s license and current car insurance sufficient to be insurable.
Responsibilities:
· Percentage of admin vs clinical duties 60/40
· Average volume: 15 – 20 patients a day
· Support staff, Medical director, Pediatrician in Yuba City, PA specializing in peds, Assigned MA
· Assists with recruitment and screening of potential medical personnel and specialty services personnel.
· Participate in special agency programs and university programs to act as preceptor for interns, etc. as required.
· Attend all trainings, meetings, and conferences as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
