Job Title: Pediatrician
Reports to: Medical Director
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our healthcare team and provide comprehensive medical services for infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves performing diagnostic evaluations, interpreting lab and imaging results, and delivering preventive care, vaccinations, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions. Your expertise will help ensure the health and well-being of the community’s youngest members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric care under standardized protocols in compliance with California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
- Conduct physical exams, growth and development assessments, and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and refer patients for specialized care as needed.
- Deliver preventive care, including immunizations and screenings for developmental and behavioral concerns.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, committee work, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with local organizations to promote community health initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current California license as a Doctor of Medicine.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics (or closely related specialty) OR minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
- Current DEA license and CPR certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in ambulatory outpatient medicine.
- Valid California driver’s license and insurance (if required).
