Position Specialty: Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
License Requirements: South Dakota or compact state RN license (required)
Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS (current)
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinic nursing experience required.
- Prior experience in outpatient care or similar settings preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (closed on Federal Holidays).
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Patient Volume:
- Average of 12 to 16 patients per day.
Additional Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination required (waivers considered with appropriate supporting documentation).
- Credentialing must begin as soon as possible with an initial assignment commitment of 3 to 6 months.
- Clearance timeframe: TBD.
Support Team:
- Collaborative team environment including one Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), one Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), and one Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), along with additional Tribal Health staff.
Electronic Health Record (EHR):
- RPMS experience preferred but not required, training available.
Location and Housing:
- Clinic located in Rapid City, SD (population ~75,000).
- Nearby housing options include apartments, VRBO listings, and long-term stay hotels.
