Job Summary:
ANTHC is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) for a locum tenens position. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong background in Gastroenterology, capable of providing high-quality care to Alaska Native and American Indian patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to patients
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to ANTHC policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current Alaska state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- FNP-C or PA-C, BLS & ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Gastroenterology
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastroenterological conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
