We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. This individual must be able to act with both efficiency and care, ensuring the well-being of our people. The Family Medicine FNP will take on a primary role in caring for patients, fostering a relationship built on trust, and collaborating with others in the healthcare team. Together, staff will provide care that honors our traditions, meets the needs of the community, and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive respectful experience for both patients and their families.
Specialty: Family Medicine FNP
Work Setting: Remote Clinic
Patients seen: All ages
Experience: More than 1 year NP experience as well as RN/ED or EMT/trauma experience desired.
Types of cases: Candidates must be comfortable with or willing to learn IUD/Nexplanon procedures. Strong preference for candidate who has suboxone exposure/training for OBOT (office based opioid treatment).
Requirements:
- Licensure: Alaska State License Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS strongly preferred
