We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare provider who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Specialty: OB/GYN
Work Setting: Women's Health Clinic
Schedule: 5 days per week (Monday – Friday every week)/ 8 hrs per day (8-430)
Patient Mix by Age: Adolescent to adult
Patient Volume: 10-14 patients per day
Types of Cases: The GPTLHB/OHC is responsible for high-risk pregnant relatives, including those with Gestational Diabetes and Type II Diabetes. Though our facility provides GYN and OB care, no deliveries on site. Deliveries are referred to Monument Health hospital.
Specialties and Staff on Site: Staffed with 2 to 3 providers per shift (APP’s, CNMW, nursing staff consists of 3 per shift, support staff consists of 3 to 5 per shift. Lab/X-ray/pharmacy in house during open hours (8-430)
Credentialing: 60 days
Requirements:
· Licensure: ALL Contracted Providers are required to be licensed in the State of South Dakota.
· Required Certifications: current BLS required and PALS preferred
· Board Certification: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Completion of a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. Valid medical license to practice as an OB-GYN. Certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
