Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing services to accomplish the individual patient plan of care; independently and consistently using the nursing process to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a full assignment of patients with subtle and sometimes unidentified needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
· Associates Degree in Nursing
· Alaska valid RN license
· One (1) year of experience in specialty
· Equivalent knowledge, experience, education, or training may be substituted for education
· Must have participated in 30 hours every 2 years continuing education in nursing in general, 16 of which
are in the specific area of practice
· Current license in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse
· Current Basic Life Support card required
· Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
are required within twelve (12) months of hire
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
· National certification is preferred
