- 2 years of experience preferred

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in a small Emergency Room. Duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site limited to: vital signs, screenings, collecting swabs (Covid, flu),running lab specimens to lab, obtaining EKGs, assisting/moving patients to the bathroom, preparing the room for medical procedures. Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned.

Job Duties
Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting routine lab specimens, preparing for exam, etc. collecting patient history; performing screenings per provider guidelines; performing aseptic procedures, taking vital signs; observing & reporting patients’ signs or symptoms; assisting physicians/nurses with various procedures; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering calls and providing pertinent information.
Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and direct patient care.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
Weekly Schedule: 12 hours 3 days a week to be full time
Patient volume per day: 10-30
Credentialing requirements: Federal forms, UDS, fingerprints
Clearance timeframe: 2-3 weeks
